Color: amber with a reddish hue.
Nose: dates, rye bread, rosin, raisins, eraser, tobacco, wild strawberries, allspice, cherries, clay, nail polish remover, nuts, apples, peaches, mint chocolate, cocoa, rhubarb, orange marmalade. A bit funky. Very nice, I like it, bready notes and berries in particular.
Taste: apples, peaches, wild strawberries, mandarins, plums, limes, cinnamon, cocoa, raisins, cherries, honey, blackberries, mint chocolate, pepper, and a touch of salt. Great, and not overly sweet.
Finish: milk chocolate, limes, plums, cocoa, cherries, peaches, apples, honey, pepper, herbs.
Score: 8 ¾. Better than good. +2+2+1.

Conclusion: a delicious Speysider matured in a sweet wine cask for quite some time. K&L Wines openly say it's Glenfarclas, that's easy to believe. Good ABV, not sure it's cask strength though. 87/100.
