Color: white wine.
Nose: apples, pears, pumpkin seed oil, toasted bread, pencil shavings, cinnamon, peppercorns, lemons, lemon pie, honey, cold tea, some chemical notes. Somewhat unsettled, a bit volatile.
Taste: lemons, pears, chocolate, pepper, salt, vanilla, caramel, limes. Sweet and spicy, with solid sour citrus notes. Not bad actually.
Finish: lemons, apples, pears, pepper, salt, chocolate, cocoa.
Score: 8 ¼. Almost good. +1+1+1.

Conclusion: a young Speyside malt. Built in 2014, Dalmunach occupies the former site of Imperial distillery which was demolished in 2013. Let's see what happens with them going forward, this whisky is not bad. 82/100. My 117th Scotch distillery tasted.
