Color: white wine.
Nose: smoke, camphor oil, soot, peat, caraway, coal, garlic stems, oilcloth, pears, seaweed, olive oil, tooth powder, electrical tape, lemons. Beloved Islay notes!
Taste: smoky and oily, somewhat medicinal, with toffee, peat, lemons, olives, pepper, mint, clove, chocolate, salt, cranberries, and cocoa.
Finish: smoky and oily, chocolate, lemons, pepper, clove, mint, blackcurrants. A little edgy.
Score: 8 ¾. Better than good. +2+2+1.

Conclusion: great blended malt! It of course resembles their Cask Strength edition which I tasted way back in 2017. Here the ABV is even a bit higher, though the label does not indicate cask strength. Regardless, the remaining bottles are sold for $45 at K&L Wines, and that is a steal.
