Only a third book I read this year after a collection of Greg Bear's short science fiction stories and the brilliant Spike Milligan's "Puckoon". For some reason I can't find enough time and concentration to read books here in USA.
RWH's autobiography is a stunning collection of memories, recollections and songwritership. Some portions just made me laugh while others were deeply personal and meaningful. Ray's adult life was a kind of mess before the age of 42. He was able to go through and suddenly became a profound musician adding fresh sounds and new meanings to the blues, country and rock. Contributing to the lives of us listeners.
Do not give up if you feel like your life sucks, a change is gonna come.
